I have chosen ‘My Favourite Celebrity’ as my written assignment and presentation topic. The purpose that I choose the topic is because I want to share the story about my idol , Taylor Swift. She had long been my idol since 12 years old before I am able to get the chance to meet her. She is one of my favourite singer plus songwriter , she is also my role model and my inspiration as well as my motivation in my life. I feel proud to be one of the Swifties and I wish to go her concert someday.

The song’s inspiration came from her senior boyfriend whom she was broke up with and as soon as he left for college. The song title was set by her management team. The song has become Top 10 hit on country charts as well as take place on Billboard’s Hot 100. Besides , her first debut album also released in October. The album has achieved its success as selling 39,000 copies in its first week and had sold over 5.5 million copies worldwide. It was rising to no.5 on billboard 200. More popular songs were followed such as “Our Song”, “Teardrops On My Guitar”,"Should've Said No" and "Picture to Burn". These songs have been highly recommended on Billboard Hot Country Song Charts. Girls are loving with her music and she has promoted her album in the USA and having a meet-and-greet session with her fellow fans. The Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Female Vocalist and Horizon Award from the Country Music Association (CMA) has won by her. Besides , these music videos in Youtube also reached an enormous number of one thousand million views. Her album “1989” also has the highest sales in its opening week comparing with the previous album within past 12 years. This has made Taylor Swift the very first time to have three album sell more than one million copies in the opening release week. In February 2016 , the “Album of the Year” at the 2016 Grammy Awards has won by Taylor Swift for her latest album “1989”. “Album of the Year”was the most honor award in the music industry. Indeed , she made it at such young age and became the first woman in music history to win the award twice. In conclusion for the total number of awards and nominations that she was received , she won 271 awards and get nominated by 565 music awards. Her achievement made me feel proud to her and this was one of my reason to admire
