My senior year is quickly coming to a close and soon enough I will be walking across that stage to receive my diploma. After what seemed like the shortest four years of my life. I am just a few months of transferring into the adult life. My four years at Grand View have prepared me for the next step in my life. I will discuss classes that have made an impact on me and how they have prepared me for the career I wish to go after.
Intro to Criminal Justice and Ethics I took this class my first semester at Grand View. This class kick started my interest for the criminal justice system and wanting to become a cop. My professor was Mathew Moore. He was a straight forward lecture teacher. You would think a lecture teacher would be boring, most were, but for this class I really enjoyed his lectures. He was passionate about the subject and made it clear to understand. This class was the base of my educational career and that is why I find it important. I feel like if I didn’t find this class interesting I could have changed majors.
Lifetime Fitness and Wellness This class was a tier I requirement. Although I was forced to take it, I am glad. It taught me how to stay healthy. Showed me what to eat and how to keep my body in shape for years to come. Since I am wanting to be a cop, this class paved the way for me to be able to keep my body in tip top shape. Allowing me to understand that having good cardio will benefit my career is important. It benefits me because if someone tries…
