Ambitions, dreams and why I think pharmacy is the best career for me.

Pharmacy is an interesting, highly trusted and ever changing profession that plays a vital part in the health care system. The main purpose of this profession is to improve an individual 's quality of life. In order to prepare for such a lifelong commitment to society, I need to have a degree as a doctor of pharmacy.

For example, I have visited the pharmacy on several different occasions, sometimes to pick up a prescription and sometimes for consultation about a particular medication. I am being taking care of, reassured and treated with respect by the pharmacist. I love the treatment I receive whenever I go to the pharmacy, so I will one day love to return the same treatment to another person who needs help. I have a passion in applying logical scientific thinking and knowledge of natural laws to analyze and solve problems occurring in a Pharmacy. In Biology, I have had the opportunity to study and understand how the human anatomy (organs, tissues, cells etc.) works which will help me to understand more how drugs metabolizes and interacts with different organs and parts of the body. Also, with the knowledge I have in mathematics I can estimate the correct dosage of a drug required for a patient in hospital pharmacy. I have worked in a pharmaceutical company and I am a little more experience with drug production, but working in a pharmaceutical research lab has reinforced my passion for this profession. Though working in the lab is more challenging, I will prefer working directly with people in the community because it will help me to become more exposed to other medications. Moreover, I will directly interact with the community in which I will serve as Pharmacists are becoming more actively involved with the community health
