Every healthcare career is full of challenges, since they are all related to human care and thus to people’s lives. In that broad range, my interest has been oriented toward the Pharmacy Technician career for some time now. I have chosen this career because it appears to be challenging; it requires a lot of concentration, high attention to detail, good observation skills, and more importantly the ability to interpret the observations. I have always wished to have a career in which each day comes with different challenges, and I believe this one will fulfill my dream. Before choosing a career, it is always good to check some important parameters like: the duties of the career, the average salary, the job market, opportunities for advancement, educational requirements, licensure and re-licensure requirements, and more.

He or she also keeps medicine supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt. He documents information in a daily log that has to be up to date. He or she resolves problems by collecting, examining and evaluating data, and if needed, selects corrective steps. He completes jobs as part of a team, attending and participating in groups projects and meeting. To be successful, the pharmacy technician needs a good knowledge of: math, good documentation, and communication skill and pharmacy regulation.
