I chose them because they are the most affected by the outcome of this merger. The cooperative members own parts of this company and therefore they should have the right to know what is going on since it could potentially affect their investments. The employees are anxious about their jobs and if there’s a greater chance that more jobs will be lost than kept they should be informed of this so they can prepare their savings and begin looking for employment elsewhere. The are policies and laws set in place specifically for the protection and benefit of employees. Labor laws and policies must be obeyed if the company want to avoid consequences such as fines, loss of licensure or even the entire place being shut down. Besides, we should be loving thy neighbor, that’s not just a Christian thing its a civil human quality.
5.In summary, my recommendations would be to keep both employees and cooperative members informed of how this could affect them as well as the company, the good and the bad.
