Letter To Abbie Monologue

I just wanted to touch base with you about Abbie coming to visit this summer. An opportunity just came up for us to get a free ticket (we just paid the taxes) for Abbie with the mileage points that a friend gave us, but we had to act on the spot the airlines said or we would lose the opportunity. So, we got her ticket to come on July 2 and going back on August 27 (she said that she wanted to stay for a few months. Sherry said that she wants to come as well and I told her that she is welcome (she would be flying with Abbie). I also told Sherry that seeing Ruthie was also my number one priority, but that I’m waiting for a response from you regarding what her doctor/counselor/psychologist says. The leader of Albuquerque, Richard Berry made a discourse that can help a considerable measure of the significant urban areas all around if considered. While strolling not far off, he happened to run over a man that was holding a card board. There were words composed on it and after looking carefully he learnt that the man had been requesting help finding a vocation. He and his staff began a citywide activity that would see to it that the greater part of the destitute land positions and also places to rest. A great deal of the people tuning in to him named his discussion a blunt and idealistic one.…

“You’ll never leave” is carved faintly into the brick wall of the small jail cell, probably from its last guest. Every day, I started to believe the phrase more and more. I lay on the uncomfortable cot, pretending to be asleep. I’m lonely, but I’m not alone. I can hear him breathing and slowly flipping the pages of the newspaper; I assume it’s…

I still couldn’t believe it had been ten whole years since I had moved from this place, but I just couldn’t get the memories out of my head. I could still feel the classic Norvelt wind blowing across my face calling me out to come and realize that this is where I belong. Well, I guess it was correct because even, after all, I and my family moved to Florida things just didn’t seem to want to go right.
