I talked to the reporting party Shawn Mannhardt; who told dispatch that he did not have a cell phone so he left his car at the intersection and walked home to call the police. Mr. Mannhardt informed me that the other person involved in the crash was Tabbatha Bailey. Mr. Mannhardt stated that Ms. Bailey gave him her phone number and her license plate number and she left the scene. Mr. Mannhardt did not feel comfortable with that so he left his vehicle at the scene and walked home to call the police.

He stated that he was a bit rattled when the crash happened so he might have confused the streets. Mr. Mannhardt then told me that it might have been the corner of G Street and Clark; that is where I found his vehicle. I asked him to review the sequence of events with me one more time now that I was at the scene of the crash. …show more content…

Mr. Mannhardt did in fact collide with her vehicle; the driver’s side of Mr. Manhardt’s vehicle had some front end damage (pictures are provided with this report). The white Chevy Cavaliers hood is creased like a tepee on the driver’s side and the headlight is pushed in. There was also some paint transfer on the area of the vehicle where it had been
