From the ambulance and finished conducting my interview with Crystal. I noted Crystal had a strong odor of an alcohol beverage coming from her person. When I asked Crystal why Gregory and Johna “jumped” her she said it was because she almost took the blame for Gregory getting his truck stuck. Crystal explained that she had contact with Deputies earlier that night because Gregory had gotten his truck stuck in a field on east 130th Avenue (Case # 201601778). Crystal said when deputies arrived she openly admitted to being the one who got the truck stuck. Crystal said it wasn’t until Deputies started doing filed sobriety test on her that Gregory came forward and admitted to being the one who got the truck stuck. Crystal said once deputies left, her and Gregory began to argue. Gregory then left, leaving Crystal with the truck. Crystal said shortly after Gregory left her brother-in-law, Timothy R. Garrica (DOB: 12-30-1979) came and picked her up. Crystal said Timothy took her back over to his house located at 1485 Money Road. Crystal said once at the house, her and Johna began to argue about her not allowing Gregory to come over and see his family. Crystal said Johna pushed her, causing her to lose her balance. Crystal said she fell to the ground and that’s when Johna got on top of her and started punching her in the face with a closed fist. Crystal said Gregory then came over and started hitting her in the face as well. When I asked Crystal how she got away she said she really couldn’t remember. Crystal said she just got up and ran. When I asked Crystal if she was in any pain she said yes. When I asked Crystal to show me where, she pointed to her right side of the face. After I finished my interview, I took photos of Crystal’s injuries before Mulvane EMS transported her to Wesley Hospital, located in Wichita, Sedgwick
