The influences on employee behavior raised an important awareness for me as a probable HR candidate. The topic can be summarized as such:
It is crucial for the human resources manager to recognize what predominantly drives employee behavior in the organization he or she works. This information can be useful in avoiding the complications resulting from the intrinsic and extrinsic employee behaviors. This is important because unresolved issues can disrupt productivity in any institution which may profoundly affect profit. HR professionals need to be proactive in building a supportive network between the linesmen, supervisors, managers, and other staff members in order to build a good rapport among of all parties in the organization.

The Topic also addressed two common leadership approaches namely; Transformational leadership and Leaders developing leaders. Coincidentally, transformational leadership aligns with my personal worldview. This leadership style was supported by one of the articles I received in class titled Why Transformational Leadership Is Important published by chronicles.com.
