Influencer Book Report

Improved Essays
The book, Influencer, suggest that attempts at implementing change initiatives often fail for three reasons, fuzzy, un-compelling goals, infrequent or no measures, and bad measures. Each one of these can lead a well-intended attempt at change to failure. Without a clear goal employees may not understand what it is that is expected of them out of the change. Without a way to measure the attempts at the change, managers and employees may have a different opinion of success when it come to the results. Similar to no measure, bad measure can also lead to failure, such as the quantity instead of the quality.
