Likewise, staff nurses felt that management sometimes discusses the future of the organization and EBP’s. Management has the position that it is always open to suggestions on how to improve process or outcomes. Lastly, the difference between leadership and staff is how EBP is promoted. Organizational Culture Organizational culture plays a major role in how well EBP is implemented. There are some similarities in how management and staff see implementation. Concurrently, both staff and management see there is room to improve the outcomes for patients. Staff members are willing to make necessary changes to make the patient’s more successful. Management sees staff as unwilling to make changes in work related tasks, but willing to help the patient outcome. Workshop and extra training is sometimes attended by both. Yet, both are eager to learn more about new methods to bring excellent care through guidelines.
