The tools I would utilize would be to have weekly meetings to keep pertinent information current and in line with the organizational goals. I would further want to ensure that all employees were on the same page as far as being informed of the necessary information needed to perform their jobs successfully. Furthermore, after a manager has established organizational goals and organizational structure and made plans then there needs to be effective communication among his employees. Moreover, it is essential that managers relay the proper information and communicate effectively with the employees to ensure that the goals will be achieved. Furthermore, there must be clarity of the roles necessary for each employee to carry out the mission. …show more content…
Furthermore, when employees are not properly informed involves a lack of understanding among employees and this would implement cause for concern. Therefore, when information is shared and gathered among same status individuals in some instances it doesn't go any further than that and therefore a lack of properly informing your organization can bring forth division. Another aspect as to why horizontal communication is threatened is due to low productivity. Many times organizational members are reluctant to utilize the additional effort that it requires and its misuse, useful and valuable time of superiors which lead to low productivity. Likewise, lack of motivation further threatens the success of an organization when horizontal communication fails simply because organization members are unwilling to spend the additional effort that it requires. More important to the demise of the organization effectiveness is over specialization. Specialization is a problem that often happens when organizations do not have uniformity within departments,therefore causing communication difficulties. Specialization can occur with procedures or vocabulary used by different departments. When this occurs organizations have trouble functioning properly and do not run smoothly (The Business
