Grilled Salmon
There a variety of methods you can you to cook Salmon; however my best method is to grill it. The natural oils found in the Salmon help it to retain the moisture and also develops some crispiness on the outer side of the fish.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds of salmon fillets
- Lemon
- Salt (to taste)
- ¼ cup of olive oil
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- Garlic powder (to taste)
Directions
You just need a few easy steps to your ideal Grilled Salmon
Prep time- 15 minutes
Cook- 16 minutes
Ready in- 2hrs 35 mins
Prepare your salmon
Although this recipe is quite simple, you need to marinade the salmon fillets, about two hours before you cook thus require you to plan ahead.

Stir it all together, place the salmon in a large sealed plastic bag, then, and pour then the marinade in to cover the salmon generously. Refrigerate the fish for about two hours.

Preheat your grill
You start by preheating your grill using high heat to burn up anything that may have been left on it. Once the grill is hot, give it some few minutes, and then clean it using a grill brush.
Reduce the amount of heat to medium high heat. You use the medium heat to grill the salmon so as to give it some fine grill marks without burning it on the exterior.
Oil your grate
To avoid sticking your salmon on the grill, you must oil it generously using the vegetable oil. The simplest way to oil your grill is to pour some oil onto a paper towel and then with the help of your grill tongs, apply the oil in generous amounts by rubbing the paper towel on your grill grate.
Get Your Grill On
Position your salmon on the grill grates diagonally, so as to give it the nice grill marks. Grill your salmon for 3-4 minutes on every side.
Once its ready the salmon should flake easily, so ensure you test it before you use your spatula to remove it from the
