The first material you will need to make a grilled cheese is bread. Now I prefer a nice white bread from IGA but if you want a healthier option, wheat bread will work as well. The next material that is necessary to make a grilled cheese sandwich is cheese. The cheese you use on your sandwich truly either makes or breaks the sandwich. The first thing you want to do is place the grilled cheese sandwich butter side down on the griddle. Then place two slices of cheese on the top of the sliced bread. Next place the second piece of sliced bread, that we buttered earlier butter up on top on the cheese. Then let the bottom slice of bread cook for about two minutes to let the cheese melt and to create the perfect golden brown. But make sure to flip the grilled cheese every so often to make sure it is not burning. Once the bread looks golden brown and the cheese seems to be melted, using the spatula flip the sandwich and wait another two minutes to ensure the second slice of bread gets to be golden brown too. Once your grilled cheese sandwich is complete, dig in.

Knowing how to cook a grilled cheese sandwich is crucial because it is a time and cost effective way to create a delicious meal. Today we took a look at the materials needed to cook a grilled cheese, identified the best ways to prepare your grilled cheese, and then we looked at how to cook a grilled cheese.
