When I started my freshman year at Nokomis Regional High, I found that a lot of the things I was being taught were things that I had already learned at Etna-Dixmont School. I feel like I had gotten a jumpstart, especially in maturity. My teachers drilled the importance of respect and responsibility into my brain from the first time I stepped foot into the building. I feel like that has been a huge advantage to me in high school, and I have used that knowledge for the better.…

Over the last several years, I have learned much about Santa Clara University and I am convinced that it would be a perfect fit for me. Many Punahou alumni have attended SCU and they all loved their time there. My high school counselor also recommended SCU, and after extensive research, I visited campus during a trip to the Bay Area during last spring. Throughout my visit, I realized that the supportive, welcoming atmosphere was similar to Punahou and I immediately felt comfortable on campus. I continue to receive email and pamphlets about the school and know that I want to spend the next four years of my education at Santa Clara…
