Global Warming myth or fact?
Global warming has probably been one of the most controversial subjects in all of the scientific community for many years. Arguments range from how the climate change is affecting the way nature works, how it is leading to extreme climate changes that lead to disasters, to how it is just a periodical climate change in the world that has no more meaning that it being natural. Some say that the earth is able to handle all the pollution and CO2 that is produce without any draw backs. But the reality of the matter is that disastrous events are happening throughout the earth and all of them seem to point out to one thing, that global warming is harming our planet and that is our job to help our planet.

The oxford dictionary states that global warming is “a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth 's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants”(NASA 7). So to summarize due to pollution, the greenhouse effect and the high levels of CO2 our planet is getting warmer as time passes.
Evidence.
The way that our world normally works is that it receives its heat from our sun which supplies us with plenty of it, but due to harmful gasses and CO2 this heat doesn’t leave our planet and it stays casing harm, this is what is call the greenhouse effect. In accordance to NASA carbon dioxide levels had been significantly building up in our atmosphere since the industrial revolution (NASA 7), also all the pollution that we are creating that is ending up in our air is leading to this greenhouse effect.
The warming effect has cause the sea level to rice 6.7 inches in the last decade, temperature rises globally leading to warmer oceans which in turn shrink our ice sheets, also extreme weather conditions, acidification of the ocean which is due to the ocean absorbing the carbon dioxide that is in the atmosphere, it has also been link to seismic activity by some

Not only does this source carbon print is minimal but it has been proven to be reliable up to a good extent. Wind power seems to be the most reliable so far. Many countries around the world are implementing this great method of producing energy. Denmark for example produces more energy by wind source that it can use. And many other countries like Germany and England are taking notice of this and switching over. And finally we have hydropower which is harvested by using dams, this last source is not 100% eco-friendly since in some cases it does affect nature by drying rivers, but for the most part with the current research they have made it very eco-friendly in the United States of America. Aside from alternative sources of power there are many invention around the world that help keep the greenhouse effect down. Some of this are pavement that absorb smog particles, solar lanterns, walls that break down air pollutants and many more. As we can see the global warming effect is real and a serious matter, is affecting our planet in many harmful ways. Since our planet is not strong enough to recover from it by itself we have to take it upon our self to help it. We only get one earth so let’s do our best to conserve it the way it is, a beautiful

There are around 100,000 flight take offs everyday. In the article Climate Change Impacts of the Aviation Industry (2010), Steven Taber explains to us that aviation, the flying or operating of aircraft, “plays a larger role in climate change than most in the aviation industry would like to admit” (Taber 7). Each time an aircraft is used, it adds more CO2 into the atmosphere, causing climate change. Aircrafts contribute to the increasing carbon dioxide that come from human sources. These crafts emit gases and particles high in the atmosphere by doing so; they damage the ozone layer.…

With the ice caps melting, and the planet’s ozone layer depleting, mankind could be driving the Earth to extinction. The study of the earth and how it works allows scientists to develop new ways to try to save the Earth. While many debate the existence of climate change, it is a very real thing causing harm to our planet. The use of fossil fuels, and the development of new alternative energy sources could be the solution. Climate Change One of the biggest factors changing our earth is global warming.…

According to NASA 's Goddard Institute for Space from National Geographic News, “Average temperatures have climbed 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 degree Celsius) around the world since 1880, much of this in recent decades (“Global Warming Fast Facts”). Man made causes such as industrialization, deforestation, and pollution have greatly increased atmospheric concentrations of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, and all greenhouse gases that help trap heat near Earth 's surface, in turn destroying the essential ozone layer. Humans are pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere much faster than plants and oceans can absorb it, causing an overdose of carbon dioxide and resulting in air pollution. These gases are said to carry on in the atmosphere for years. This means that even if we were all to try hard and eliminated many of these destructive emissions today, global warming would not immediately just stop.…

Much research has been focused on the effects of global warming, as a direct result of the elevation of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which originally from global industrialization and modernization. Consequently, a lot of evidence from various studies had strongly suggested the significance of global warming with multiple negative effects on environmental conditions and all ecosystems on Earth. In other words, human happens to destroy themselves through their actions toward the Earth accidentally. Recently, efforts have been made to help to prevent our global climate system from being worse. However, they are still insufficient because of many limitations.…

Alejandro Vieyra Mr. Moody English 4 5 December 2016 Climate Change Must Stop Climate change is the changing of weather patterns in regions all around the world. The primary cause of climate change is the appreciable amount of fossil fuel emissions that humans are sending into the atmosphere. These emissions consist of carbon dioxide that ultimately retain more heat in our atmosphere than needed, thus elevating the temperature everywhere around the globe and damaging ecosystems greatly. Many people, including politicians and scientists, believe that climate change is simply a hoax. Although some prefer to believe that climate change is fake and we have nothing to worry about, there are concrete facts that prove these individuals wrong.…

As a result of massive loss of forests, the carbon dioxide level has risen approximately 0.7 percent each year (National Geographic). Humans are living in an age where they can find an abundance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, released through their own inventions, such as factories, and power plants. Additional carbon dioxide in the atmosphere results in the sun 's radiation to be reflected back to earth instead of outer space, and this causes the normal temperature of the earth to rise. In this way, deforestation is a serious problem when it comes to global…

Global warming is a serious topic because we realize (and have known this for a while) that it has made a very big modification to our world today. How you may ask? We have been polluting our earth and it’s atmosphere, it has been making drastic changes. We’ve also have been trying to figure out its causes, its effects on us and living things around us. To put it in blunt words, pollution has been altering our world.…
