In this discussion about Gender Inequality in the Workplace, a controversy has risen over what women experience in the workplace and what are the solutions to solve the gender inequality in the workplace. The issue came to the forefront of the public’s attention when women first started to think about being working mothers. Proponents of gender inequality in the workplace argue that women suffer from discrimination at work and women were seen only to be housewives and this did not change with time so that women have the gender inequality issue in the workplace. For example, working women do not get flexible schedule to help them with being working mother, so men are taking more money and opportunities at work. People should be aware of gender inequality in the workplace, because women were seen only as housewives and mothers and they are not having the same opportunity as men. Women are having a huge pay gap and men are hardly having unfair competition with women at work. Everyone should know that women are being mothers and workers in the same time which is harder. Now, women are not having enough money and time as men have and it is impacting women’s life and lowering the ability for them to compete with men in the workplace. Women are half the society and they should get their rights and appreciation from society. …show more content…
