In 2008, Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams stumbled onto an idea to use teacher-created videos and interactive lessons, to give students access to instruction at home, in advance of class time. Bergman and Sams’ classroom became a place to work through problems, advance concepts, and engage in collaborative learning.
