Faith is defined as complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Something that I have faith in is my parents. Our parents are people that do a lot for us every day. From bringing us to practices and rehearsals, going to games and concerts, hardly seeing us most days, but supporting and loving us nonetheless. We have all heard that being a parent is one of the hardest but most rewarding things we can do. One of the struggles that comes with being a parent is having faith in your children. I believe that my parents have had faith in me for a long time whether they knew of my decisions or not and, as Luther’s parents, have faith in me to make the right decisions about my life.

So perhaps the point is not how we can get our kids to behave as we want them to, but how can we be the kind of parents … that when our kids are like us, we’ll like what they are 5.
I felt that this is a great thing to look at whether you are finishing up high school, starting or finishing college, or becoming a parent. This reminds us to look back to how our parents live and the faith that they have in us. We can look at how similar we are to our parents and how they have always had faith in us to see how we can have faith in ourselves and our children. As a reminder to us, call your parents because while we are growing up our parents are growing old and a phone call can make their day and remind us and them of the faith that is
