Abstract: Over the years there have been many changes in the organization for which the employees have to adapt for a healthy and better work environment. There have been many reasons affecting the attrition rate in the organization, one of it is leadership. This article targets people from IT [recruitment] industry. Leaders have more impact on employees satisfaction. The key factors of leadership affecting the attrition rate and how it can be controlled are found by a five point likert scale questionnaire. And the results are obtained using [SPSS} technique.

Employee retention is not just a HR matter or concern. It is the prime responsibility of the team manager/ reporting head to look for early signs of employee turnover and take due steps in time. But the influence of the leaders these days are going from making things right to wrong. There are different characters of leaders which lead to attrition. We are here to discuss some of the leadership factors affecting attrition:
Honesty / Integrity:
The foundation of any relationship both it is personal or professional is honesty. A leader has to be honest with the team members. There should be transparency in the team.
