The achievement of the three HR goals, enhancing productivity and quality, complying with legal and social obligations, and promoting individual growth and development, aid an organization in accomplishing the goal of facilitating organizational competitiveness because these three goals allow companies to try and be the best they can be by setting a high standard to compete with each other. Organizations have “recognized the important of productivity and quality for their ability to not only compete, but to survive (Denisi, pg. 14)”. This goes hand and hand with what I learned in my decision making class. My team decided to make a low quality shoe at an expensive price. This law is important to this goal because HR departments are now hiring different people from different ethnicities and backgrounds this allows the company to have employees who have different strengths and makes the company strong and more competitive. Social obligations also aids in organizational competitiveness because HR departments do not just want their employees to be focused on one aspect of their jobs they want their company to be well rounded and give back to their community. Creativity can be used to motivate employees because managers can use fun new ideas to make employees excited and motivated to complete the tasks assigned. An example of using creativity to motivate employee is when Alicia was talking about how at the restaurant she works at, they were giving employees “Tucks Bucks” when they did something nice for customers. At the end of the holiday session, the employees can use there “Tucks bucks” and receive different prizes depending on the amount of “Tucks bucks” employees have. Another example of this is at the company my Dad works for he always asks his employees current event questions about the economy or anything that has been in the news. Each time an employee answers the question right he keeps a tally and at the end of the season he will give that employee a prize. It is a creative way to get employees looking at current events and listening to the news so they know what is going on in the world and how it can impact the company they are working at. It’s important to use creativity to motivate employees so they “produce organizational valued outcomes ( Denisi, pg. 284)” in the
