Design creative thinking, and explain why it is important to small group problem solving. Creativity thinking is encouraging hunches, intuition, insight, and fantasy to promote creativity. It is important because it introduces ideas that are not usually thought of in normal group situations. Describe brainstorming, synectics, and mind mapping, and explain how they can be used to help enhance group creativity. Critical thinking is important because it shows a person views information, and carefully evaluate it to make sound decisions. List and describe the attitudes most conducive to critical thinking in a group. Being open minded, and having the right attitude is conducive because it shows that a member holds an interest in accepting and gathering new information. Gathering information, and accessing information needs are important aspects because the group needs to access what is the most important. Lastly, checking for errors in reason is important because it means assessing the quality of reasoning people for supporting one conclusion.
