Marketing is crucial for every organization. It is a blueprint for the design and delivery of product promotion. The company has to come up with a marketing plan to reach the customers. A marketing plan will guide the group through implementing advertisements, analyzing the number of clients and will hence help in the decision-making process for the future. The age bracket of the target group for the business is 18 – 35 years. These are young people whose life is full of excitement. Following a global experience in the digital revolution, this group is the one that is profoundly impacted. With more than 200 million active users and over a million logging in daily we plan to post pictures daily to promote our business and show some insight to our fury customers. “Facebook added 10.8 million adults in the 25 to 34 demographics, a growth of 32.6 percent, since 2011” (H, 2014). This shows great growth in our target group.
LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 433 million members in 200 countries and territories (LinkedIn). With LinkedIn, we plan on building and expanding connections with people, colleagues and contacts in our industry to help our brand.
YouTube is a video-sharing platform that obtains averages of 3 billion views per day. It is known as the “world’s second-largest search engine, and is considered the third most-visited website in the world” (Social Media Examiner). With YouTube, studies show that 40% of people respond better to visual information than plain text. Facebook is one of the most used forms of social media connection in the world. With more than 200 million active users and over millions logging in daily we will be able to promote our business, share upcoming events, network and build trusting relationships with our clients. Some countries have their unique platforms which are protected by the government; for instance, China where they have JD.com (Hanafizadeh & Behboudi, 2012). Almost everyone in America uses smartphones. We plan to design our graphics to fit with the display functions of smartphones to reach as many people as people. We also plan to incorporate a business page using: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp to reach these people on a daily level. This way they can see pictures/ videos of their animals while others can as well. Something else that is crucial to plan for is the display of the entire premises.
