The responsibilities that I was tasked with at the Glendale Chamber of Commerce involved using Constant Contact, Databases, Facebook, Snap Pages, and press releases. Constance Contact is a program that enables users to edit flyers and is also used to distribute emails to Glendale Chamber of Commerce members. I often used Constant Contact to edit flyers such as At-A-Glance that contained Glendale Chamber member information, which was considered a tool that could market their products. As for Facebook, I used the social media website to post Glendale Chamber members advertisements. This usually entailed …show more content…
At this marketing seminar, the instructor informed us of some of the online marketing concepts that can be used to improve a person’s business. For example, the teacher suggested that all entrepreneurs should implement a feature called “mobile responsive” on their own websites. As the mobile responsive program enables Google Maps to recommend businesses for users based off what they are searching for. Consequently, this would increase the revenue of a company’s business from using the mobile responsive application, since it’s a form of advertisement. In addition, the instructor asserted that entrepreneurs should avoid using the word “free” in their subject lines. As using the word “free” could prevent an email from going into a potential customer’s inbox. The email instead would be distributed into the spam box, which would most likely prevent the consumer from ever viewing it. Furthermore, Search Engine Optimization was another topic that the instructor mentioned at the course as a method that can be used to improve a business’s revenue. That blog posts can increase the probability of customers finding an entrepreneurs business in a Google search. As using keywords that users utilize in a search engine for a person’s blog can elevate the number of visitors to a …show more content…
For I would categorize myself as an introvert, since I prefer to only have a few close friends and do not like publicly speaking in front of large crowds. However, I think that I made progress in conversing with others, as I was forced in my internship to ask my supervisor for more details on the assignments that she gave me. In the beginning of the internship, I did not prompt my boss for more information on the tasks that were designated to me when I was uncertain about her instructions. Consequently, this led to me making mistakes since I did not ask my supervisor any questions pertaining to the task. Therefore, to address the miscommunication, I had to step out of my comfort zone by asking questions about anything I was not certain about and reiterate anything that my supervisor stated to confirm if I understood her instructions.
My professional growth is another aspect of the marketing internship that I am certain that has improved during my employment at the Glendale Chamber of Commerce. As I was able to enhance my productivity at my internship by creating an outline that listed all the assignments that I had to do each day. All the tasks that I did manage to complete would be crossed out with a pencil in order to determine what still needed to be finished. If I was not able to finish all of my projects on a particular

Reflection Over that three assignments above and the other assignments we have done over this quarter I have noticed a way of think and formating I do when starting a assignment. When starting an assignment I don't start or finish things in order I'll do the main requirements for what goes where and create how ever many pages it needs then I’ll Start the assignment in the middle where I'm doing the main most important part first. For example this project I started with the hard moments essay instead of a title screen just to get it out of the way. I've noticed I don't talk much in class, even though I used to always get in trouble in language arts and reading for talking because I hated those classes, but not speaking much in class doesn't mean I don't contribute to class. I think I contribute a good amount I volunteer for questions (Sometimes).…
