You Should Exercise Everyday For the longest time now there 's been a stigma around working out and exercising every day. It seems as if our society has turned exercise from something that may be critical to your body, to something that almost everyone dreads. When people hear exercise they seem to equate it to a number on a scale that must go down. An overweight person these days might see it as something that is for skinny people and skinny people may see it as something for overweight people. Our society has made it so that exercise is equated with one 's size and one 's number on the scale. It 's made it less about health and more about looks and sex appeal. Exercise is so much more than a number on a scale or a stereotype made by our society and culture. Exercise is about a healthy lifestyle and a happy body, but what is exercise? Exercise can mean a number of different things to people. The clinical definition of exercise is "physical activity that is done in order to become stronger and healthier" (McDonald), but exercise can be interpreted in many different ways depending on who you are. For some people exercise may be a quick jog, a walk around the block with their dog, or hard intense workouts, or someone may not even have exercised in their vocabulary. The people who tend to not exercise on a regular basis all have an excuse of some kind. The favorite excuses to use for these people are; "I get enough exercise at work" or "I 'm too tired I 'll do it…
