Ever Changing Education Education is supposed to cater to every single person who goes through the education system, regardless of what grade level or higher education. Every student is different though and not every state, city, or school district is created equal but the educational system has reformed over the years and is suppose to reach all children regardless of age, race, or gender. Singling out three of the most positive and negative reforms in the system is subjective and could mean different things to different people. The fact politics are becoming a big factor in the type of education students are getting as well as the fact there is a lack of understanding racial issues in regards to schools located in certain cities. (Scott 2004) Another school change that has many things in common with the problems that the lack of diversity is the different standards that Bush and Obama both have implemented. Under Bush, the No Child Left Behind Act had severely impacted children of certain ethnicities and then was offset by Obama's Common Core Standards. Something that is noticeable was that without educational basics being front and center, there would be no progress made. (Farkas, 2014) The motivation for the entire set up of the most recent standards change was to make the United States Educational system more competitive in the world. By setting the standards, there are the same standards for each school regardless of the school district that way children are learning the same thing.
