Julie, great example of how your team has utilized debriefing. When debriefing it is important to cover certain aspects, these aspects that should be covered are emotions, analysis, applications, and summary (Arnold, Dadiz, & Weinschreider, 2013). When evaluating emotions in a team setting it is important to stay in the I or we statements. It seems like the physician that you are working with has done a great job of this by opening the table up for discussion on what the team could have done better by using "we" and by valuing what every member of the team has had to say.
