Deforestation in South America is occurring because of the extension of agribusiness for financial advancement. Extension of industry, logging, mining, cows pastures are additionally answerable for this. With the lack of trees, Carbon Dioxide levels are increasing, less oxygen is being produced and acid rain is being formed in many parts of the continent.
