Many were dropping out to fight in the war. This resulted in the Education Act of 1918. Not only were children becoming very ill, but they were also missing a lot of school days. That's why the sun lamp was such a great invention of education. Its helped kids get better so they could get back to school, but it also showed that your bones need vitamin D to keep them strong and that the process of bone strengthening is put into action though ultraviolet light. Education and inventions had a significant impact on the outcome of World War 1. Without education our soldiers wouldn't have known how to read a map or know the basic needs to fight. They would have never been taught how to stay clean and how to keep a healthy body. Inventions that were created during this time period help soldiers succeed in the best way possible. These military weapons and other inventions that were created, shaped our country to the way they are now. Many people today still reflect on this war as the Great
