The social issue that will be investigated is Domestic Violence in regards to alcohol-related problems through a social policy perspective. Social policy refers to the governmental and political setting in which policies are introduced, discussed and examined for the improvement of issues in the public. The aspects that will be covered include: domestic violence towards women, men; family and child abuse; and domestic violence related to culture.
