One day in June, I can’t quite remember the exact date, but it was June 2015. As I was scrolling down my Facebook newsfeed one particular post caught my attention. The post consisted of a photo heading in big bold, all caps, red letters: BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE] and underneath read: Los Angeles Staple Center Oct 3, 2015. I couldn’t believe what I was reading that I had to reread a few times. I knew they were on a world tour but there was no news on them coming to the United States. My thoughts ran crazy in my head as I tried to comprehend if the event was real or not. When my excitement finally settled down one thought came to mind, “I waited 9 years for this moment.”

It all started September 2006, and I was at the age of 16. My sister introduced me to a boyband from South Korea of the name BigBang. The band consisted of five members ranging from the ages of 17 to 19. She made me listened to their first album and I instantly became a fan. I immediately started doing research on this boyband, because I had to know their names and everything about them. During my research I found out that the group had just debuted in August 2006 and already gained a huge

The concert did not start until 8pm, but I rushed my sister to the venue at 5pm. I thought we were going to be early, but I was wrong. Outside the venue there were already at least thousands of fans there and the lines wrapped around to the next block. While waiting in line I socialized with the people around me and learned that they were from all parts of the United States. We talked about who was our favorite members, exchange social media, dance and sing along with their songs. Waiting in line was one of my favorite memories about that night. I see fans ranging from all ages, culture, gender, and race and for the fact that we were all here enjoying each other’s company made it

As stated before, my group and I were actually approached by one of the band 's members due to the fact that he noticed our papers. Also, in the middle of the session the band actually allowed an audience guy to join them as a vocalist. I am assuming the guy who joined them was known by the band 's vocalist since he invited him up to take his position and he actually did an amazing job. Furthermore, I also want to mention that I really enjoyed the fact that the song that the guy from the audience sang was a Spanish song.…

It was hot and it got exhausting. The sun was glaring down at us and we had to keep directing traffic in the hot sun and at that time I was really regretting going to the show. It felt like I was just standing there pointing in one direction, walking back and forth in the hot sun. I remembered we were doing this for the community which was important to the Blue Angels because they needed help with the traffic because there was a lot of people coming so I thought it was an important contribution. They finally brought us some water and food which was great because we were all thirsty and hungry from standing in the heat almost all…

Tickets were kind of difficult to get because it was so close to the concert, but they were some of the best seats I’ve ever had at a concert. We didn’t feel like finding a parking spot at the Moda Center so we decided to take the Tri-met, which was my first time ever on it. It was a lot nicer than the one in Arizona and we laughed and talked about our day. We got there about 45 minutes before the opening act, Slydigs, began and she bought…

This lasted about twenty minutes because I could not enjoy the concert because people were fighting, throwing up, falling down, and being loud and ignorant. My friends that rode with me to the concert also wanted to move away from all of the chaos. We decided to move to the section where the families were and we enjoyed the concert better where we were compared to the section of chaos. Once we moved sections I really enjoyed my first concert at Walnut Creek…

One of the first bands of the day that I loved was Asking Alexandria. They were playing at the third stage which was to the right of the main stage. When we walked over there after Payable On Death (P.O.D) there had to be at least 300 people waiting for the band to walk out on the stage. My mom and I tried to get closer to the stage but there were too many people and we didn’t want to be rude so we stopped. We were in an ok spot, but it would have been nice to be closer.…

Throughout the school year, I saved my money for band merchandise and tried to get myself mentally and physically prepared for the concert. I do not know if it was me or if the school year seemed longer than it should have been. To be honest, I do not think I have ever been so impatient in my life until that school year happened. The day had come. I did not sleep the night before because I thought about how many bruises I will get from the mosh pits I will get trapped in and how I will sing along with my favorite band.…

Concert Report Two The concert performance given live that I have attended on Thursday April 20th, 2017 was an organ licentiate recital by Ian Guenette. It was held at the Redpath Hall, a building located on McTavish street. The Redpath Hall was first dedicated for a library building, but is now taken charge by the Schulich School of Music.
