Wearing all black, or dark clothing. The clothing was mostly jeans, tshirts, tank tops and skirts. Not a set of high heels in the entire place. Tennis Shoes seemed to be the footwear of choice. Once the show started, I understood why. The people that were use to this type of show drank their beer early and were on the dance floor, right next to the stage. You could see the longing for the start of the show in their eyes. I safely placed myself at the top of the staircase, so i could overlook and see everything happening. I wasn 't the only one at a safe distance. They place was crowded. The dance floor was full and there were people all around me. There was guy standing next to me. His name was Zack. He asked me if I had seen any of the bands before? I told him no, and why I was actually there. He said he had been following Suicide Silence for a while. So I asked what he liked about them? What actually made them stand apart from the other bands. Funny thing, he said, the lyrics. I chuckled, because before i came to the show i looked up some of the bands songs. I couldn 't understand a word they said. That is the biggest reason i don 't listen to that kind of music. I even looked up the lyrics to one song, nothing. So i asked how he actually understood what they said. He explained that when he started listing to that music it was for working out and he just liked the drums and guitars. The …show more content…
From the first kick drum beat to the last guitar high pitched note, the crowd didn 't stop moving or screaming. The sound was deafening. I swear for the first 30 mins of the show, all i heard was the kick drum. Reminded me of the Pow Wows. The kick drum just made steady beats the entire time. There were lights of all different colors. The crowd was going crazy. The floor seemed to be alive. From my position, looked as if the floor was just a wave of bodies going up and down. Every now and then a gap would form in the crowd and someone or a few people would start dancing. Slinging their arms over their heads, in a windmill type fashion. I was laughing my ass off. Looked like they were being attacked by bees. Zack called it hard core dancing. Basically, from my understanding, you start slinging your arms, moving your feet and turn around in a circle, hoping to not hit someone. Reminded me of my nephew walking in the room and saying hey, watch this. Just no pattern to it. Just moved to the
