I have had the profession of being a dental hygienist picked out since freshman year. Recently I have explored colleges that offering the right type of schooling and narrowed it down to two. Ferris State University is one of them, and Grand Rapids Community College is the other. The reason I choose Ferris is because the wait to enter into the dental program at GRCC is a minimum of 2 years. Also, Ferris offers both an associate and bachelor degree in dental hygiene, where GRCC only has associate. I feel that I have a real shot of being accepted into Ferris. My GPA reaches the requirement, so as long as my SAT scores do too, I should be able to attend there. To insure I get accepted, I must prepare myself for the SAT test, and also take classes
