A Career In Dental School

Not only are these personality traits needed in preparation for this career, but also other factors as well, including a high grade point average in a science-based major or participation in relevant clubs. When in dental school, I will be offered science-related subjects such as periodontics, anatomy, and anesthesia. In time, I will gain clinical experience working directly with patients with the supervision of a licensed dentist. Admission into dental school is competitive, but the field offers three general degrees such as Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM), and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). All three of these titles are for general dentists and one is not superior to the other, however, I plan to acquire
