I served on active-duty in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. During this memorable period, I discovered an immeasurable amount of my inner abilities: strengths, weaknesses, ambitions, and morals. Having spent years abroad in sixteen different countries on three continents, I maximized this unique opportunity to polish the intangible skills I brought with me into the Marine Corps. The core values of honor, courage, and commitment are the grassroots of great leaders. Whether in a combat zone, business environment, or a political venue-the skills I have learned make me a valuable asset to the diversity of any environment that I am given the opportunity to immerse myself into.
Post-military service, I am grateful for the financial backing I have earned to be used for the furthering of my education. During my transition from the military, I have had a significant amount of self-reflection and deep thought regarding both my educational and career pathways. In this time, I have discovered that I have been fortunate and in an optimal situation to attain my definition of success in life. I continually reshape and define what I identify as my personal interests, hobbies, and goals as I have a passion for broadening and gaining depth in knowledge, growing closer to grasping the depth of my true potential.
