To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee was a phenomenal novel. While it was quite humorous in areas, it taught important lessons. The Chosen by Chaim Potok was another phenomenal novel. I thought it really showed the growth of an unlikely friendship really well and taught crucial life lessons. I personally enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird and The Chosen’s characters, storyline, and themes a lot.
