Comparing A Cell To A Walmart Store

Decent Essays
I compared a cell to a Walmart store. A cell has many parts that are similar to a Walmart For example a nucleus is like a customer service. A nucleus controls all cell activity. A customer service desk controls everything that goes on in the store. Next the Mitochondria makes energy for the cell. The stock people produce the products for the store. Then there is the cell membrane that separates the inside of a cell from the outside. The walls in a walmart do the same thing. Next the lysosome destroy bacteria. A security guard destroys shoplifters. Cytoplasm contains and supports organelles The shelves hold products up and contains them in a good way. Ribosomes produce protein for the cell. The Deli make food for the customers. DNA in a cell

There are many organelles in the animal cell. There is the nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, cell membrane, vacuoles, lysosomes, mitochondria, cytoplasm, ribosomes, & golgi apparatus. The nucleus directs all the cells activities, including reproduction. Endoplasmic Reticulum is a network of membranous tubules within the cytoplasm continuous with the nuclear membrane; It usually has ribosomes attached The cell membrane protects the cell and regulates what substances can enter and leave. Some animal cells have vacuoles that store food, water, & waste.…

So in these slides I am going to be talking about Walgreens and Walmart. I am going to say about results in Walgreens and walmart. Also, I will be talking about where my parents usually shop and what they said about my bar graph and my chart and see if they changed their mind about where to shop. Lastly, I will be talking about why I chose to write about Walgreens and Walmart rather than 2 other stores. I hope you like my slides and at the end I hope you might change your mind about shopping in the place where it costs a lot of money and where the other shop is actually very cheap.…

Each organelle is significant to its cell, which are the building blocks of life. At the center of almost every cell is a dense organelle called the Nucleus. It contains the cell's genetic material and usually has a double membrane. The double membrane that protects the nucleus is similar to the thin single membrane made up of proteins and lipids.…

Introduction: - Mitochondria is a double membrane organelle that is found in all eukaryotic organism. There are some evidences that proves that some of the eukaryotic organism lack this organelle but there is no true evidence which says that this specific organism completely lacks mitochondria. Mitochondria is also known as a power house of the living body cell. It stores energies in the cell and releases when its needed. Every organelle in Mitochondria have their own specific roles which helps in storing energy (See Figure 1 for details).…

Some cells are uncomplicated, but others are complex with internal structures called organelles. These cells can be put into two categories which are the prokaryotes and the eukaryotes, and they have many differences and similarities. The prokaryotes derive from prokaryotic cells whose fossils have been in existence for over 3.8 billion years, which mean they have learned to adjust to the earth’s environments more than any other life form. Prokaryotes are the bacteria and their close relatives, of which have few internal parts. The prokaryotes are a assorted body of fundamental one-celled organisms that are divided into two major groups: the Archaea and the Eubaceria.…

Some of these organelles include the nucleus, which holds the cells DNA, mitochondria, which produce ATP from glucose and oxygen, known as cellular respiration, and the golgi body which packages and processes different substances leaving the cell. Prokaryotic cells are the simpler of the two cells and are single celled organisms, such as bacteria, that don’t contain organelles.…
