Comcast Outages Case Study

Comcast is experiencing business outages once again. Earlier today, a representative from Comcast confirmed that there is an issue in the company’s network that prevented their small business customers from making and receiving telephone calls. The Comcast outages has affected specific areas in the United States.

The company has since apologized for the inconvenience since the Comcast outages started. “We’re working as quickly as possible to understand the root cause and get it resolved," Comcast said in an emailed statement.

The section affected comes from business voice customers and has touched many of Comcast’s service areas. According to reports, the outages are concentrated in the North East, South Florida, some parts of Northern California and the Pacific North West. Customers have expressed their frustration in various social media outlets.

This is not the first time Comcast has experienced outages. Outages stemming from internal issues and network issues have affected both business and home customers before.

Until now, the company’s engineering team is still trying to fix Comcast outages. Comcast continues to offer its apologies to resolve the issue in a swift manner but has not provided an estimated time of repair just yet.

The company prides itself with their product line from Digital Cable TV, High-Speed Internet to Home Phone Services. Comcast Cable also provides connections to small to medium-sized business through its Comcast Business brand, and Fortune 1000 companies through its Comcast Enterprise brand.
