A successful human resource should able to evaluate the need of human resource (Kumari, 2012). Once the need been evaluated and identified, the process of recruitment and selection starts as the steps showed in Figure 1. The Human Resource Department in Coca Cola will planning to ensure what the right number and the right kind of people at the right time. A main object to the company is attracting the new talent which in short supply and the retaining becoming a challenge to the company at the same time (Shafique, 2012). If both of the process been carried out in proper way, it sure brings maximum benefits to both workers and company itself in long run (Anyim, et al., 2012).

This recruitment is considered time efficient than an external recruitment as the applicant’s information are available and easy to be assess. Besides that, through internal recruitment company will fill the vacancy available among the company. By doing this, it can improve and support employee morale and satisfaction and organization loyalty as well. It will also help the company to save the cost as no need to pay that much more on training in certain area. In Coca Cola Company, in order to nurture the capability and talents of the workers among their company, workers are selected throughout the process of Internal Job Posting (Charan, 2011). After the job been posted, employees are welcome to contact the certain department for more detailed information about the position. After receiving the job posting application, they will interviewing those qualified candidates. External recruitment provides a wider choice and the best quality is assumed as company will has the chances to hire experienced workers and it will also reduce the training needed and cost at the same time.In Coca Cola, one typical used external recruitment methods is recruitment via internet or e-recruitment. For example, in Coca Cola official website, it provides a Job Search system for the candidates worldwide to apply in their job vacancy as just showed in Figure 2. Candidate can easily access to the availability of job vacancy in different location. Throughout the job search system provided by their company, candidates can apply the job position by attached with their personal information and resume as well. By using the Job Search system, Coca Cola can easily attract and receive worldwide applicant’s application and it really provides a wider choice to them to recruit as well.
