Child’s favorite age was 8 years old. That was the time when all his best friends were enrolled at Wonder Years, a daycare his father owns. RP only played games that his friends enjoyed playing like 4 square, kickball, 500, and sometimes soccer while at daycare. He enjoyed playing these games with friends because he had many of them. He played with a variety of kids, some were older and some were younger than him and he enjoyed being able to play with an array of ages. When he was not playing the physical sports games previously stated he enjoyed making up his own games with friends. They often times played a game he likes to call acid ball. Some other interests of RP are he likes to play on his cartoon games on his computer and he enjoys reading. RP can’t decide what he wants to be when he grows up it seems to change all the time. He mentioned that he wanted to be an artist or maybe even a computer engineer. ADOLESCENT-SOCIALIZATION SUMMARY RP claims he has a good relationship with his family. He thinks the biggest thing he does to agitate his family members are when he goes around the house and “mess with random stuff sometimes”, he says. Some positive qualities about his family is he always has someone to talk to and he also enjoys the vacations they go on. The negative qualities are when mom makes him do chores. Some of his chore responsibilities are making the bed, cleaning out trash cans, vacuum, dust, dishes, and cleaning the bathrooms. He usually does his chores on time but it all depends on the day also. To obtain spending money RP can do what his mom likes to call a bonus chore. He also obtains money through birthday cards and working at his father’s daycare. He wishes he could get paid for doing his daily chores but since he can get a bonus chore than it isn’t so bad. RP gets to decide how he spends all his money as long as it’s an appropriate toy but he is already aware of what he can and cannot purchase. RP is a 6th grader at school middle school and he is getting all A’s except for the 1 B he got on a test he is afraid that might bring his overall grade down in the class. The most difficult course for him is social studies because he has no interest in it. Throughout school his grades haven’t been as consistent as they care now. The worst year for him was 4th grade, RP says “it wasn’t so good because the teacher was going through some problems”. That was the only year he was removed from a class because of conduct. Otherwise he is responsible enough to get all his homework done on time and he studies for his tests. He is pretty satisfied with his school performance and claims to be doing pretty well. His favorite teacher was Mr. Miller from Century because he was the nicest and funniest teacher, he didn’t give much homework, and his classroom was nice and organized. RP is not involved in any school activities as of right now. He …show more content…
