Day 1 - I was once again reminded of my mothers’ marriage to my uncle, Claudius. To this day I still feel disgusted and outraged that either of them would think it is morally okay to do such a thing. My father had only past away under a month before my mother had married my father’s brother. I think it’s terribly disrespectful and ignorant towards my father. He would have given the world and more. He loved her more then anything, and I don’t understand how she marry his brother in such short time, and not feel guilty or disgusted by herself. It just astonishes me.

The night of the play – everything turned out perfectly! Once of the players was about to enact the murder of my father, Claudius became infuriated and left! This is exactly what I was hoping would happen. This shows me that Claudius couldn’t bare to have the memories flood back of the night that he murdered my father. I followed my mother into her chamber, and had a very in depth conversation with her. She came to realize that Claudius had murdered my father, and how despicable Claudius was. She was shocked at how disrespectful and rude Claudius was to the death of my father. She told me that she felt guilty for how she forgot about my father so quickly and how she fell into Claudius’ dirty scheme. Hopefully she will take my advice and stay out of Claudius’ bed, and go along with the rest of my plan to avenge my father’s death.
