Pretty Little Liars is a television show based on a popular book series about group of five friends named Alison, Hanna, Aria, Emily, and Spencer. The girls began to separate after the leader of the group, Alison, went missing one summer.. They began to get threatening messages from an anonymous source a year after her disappearance. The person sending the messages went by the alias “A”. “A” threatened to expose their secrets and blackmailed them to get what she wanted. Some of the secrets were things that they thought only Alison knew. The four friends banned together to find out who “A” was. There were many different “A’s” throughout the show. The original “A”, the one who started it all, was a girl by the name of Mona Vanderwaal. Mona Vanderwaal is one of the most interesting characters in the show Pretty Little Liars. She has a lot of different sides to her. Mona started out as a smart, nerdy girl when she was in middle school. Despite being treated badly by Alison, Mona seemed to be obsessed with her and …show more content…
Mona exhibits the concept mastery through reversal role because she repeated in an active role what she previously experienced in a passive role. As I mentioned earlier, Mona used to be very unpopular. She was bullied and rejected by the popular girls, particularly Alison, the most popular girl in school. Mona wanted to be like Alison. Mona even gave Hannah a makeover which made her look very similar to Alison. Once they became the pretty popular girls, Mona began to treat people the way Alison used to treat her. She even began to call her old, unpopular friends the names Alison used to call them. So, she used mastery through reversal role because she began to bully others because she used to get

“The best index of a person’s character is how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and how he treats people who can’t fight back.” I consider this quote by Abigail VanBuren to be very true. What it means is that we can determine someone’s character based on how they treat others. People who will only do good for someone who would return the favor have bad character. Someone like this would take advantage of others to get to where they want to go in life, only having shallow relationships with others and not bothering to hold a genuine friendship.…

At the very top of this set, I have found that the following three seem most relevant in my life: a sense of unity and community, strong relationships and family involvement, and the practice of altruism. A member of our community that displays these values and inspires me to build on these values is Mona Hjerpe. Mona is extremely present in the town of Hutchinson and does a great deal of work helping those with developmental disabilities; an area where I have also developed a strong passion. The values listed above help Mona with leading those with developmental disabilities in activities that will help them serve their community.…

This quote shows the most growth of maturity since, she didn't go to the Girl Scout breakfast which shows us that she didn’t like Jerry, to being in his arms and accepting him as a step father, an approximated step father. In conclusion, Mona Simpson protrayed to us that approximations are in everyones life and that no one has a perfect life through the development of…
