The OSIM company is known for their premium massage chairs which are made from leather which has an array of functions. Their products are popular among the middle class and wealthy customers around Southeast Asia. OSIM focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle. Other than their massage chairs, OSIM has other products such as the exercise machines (uShape) and an air purifier (uVenus). OSIM originally focused on selling knives but took a turn to sell products which promote a healthy lifestyle. OSIM launched their first global business headquarters in Singapore in 2002. In macroeconomics, if we face a global recession or global inflation, the customer would perceive their products in a different light, for example; during a recession, they would think OSIM products are overpriced and their business would lose out. During inflation, more people can afford OSIM products hence boosting their sales. In the micro-economic factor, if Singapore specifically faces a recession or may face a corruption in the government, the exchange rate for the Singapore dollar will be weaker. Disposable income of their potential customers will be affected too.

The environment factor is important for OSIM because their products are designed and made in Japan. Japanese are known for their high quality and elegant design. OSIM focuses on having good quality products with good innovation. The Japanese design is good for their products. Japan is known for the country with the most frequent earthquakes. If an earthquake occurs, the export of goods will decrease immensely or will not even be imported. This may affect their business.

The design is compact and can be easily used. It has a visual representation on the buttons and language settings for people who might not understand English. Besides their products, OSIM's services are one of the best in this industry. They have their own app which is available for Apple and Android devices. This provides a better customer experience. If their massage chairs have issues, customers can go on their website and explain their problem via their live chat service. Responses are instant during the working hours. This is a more efficient method for their customers compared to calling their customer service support.

OSIM recently set up their online store which is good for customers who have tried their products at the physical store and may need some time to consider buying their product. Order processing can be online or in-store. Delivery timing is preferable to their customer's schedule. OSIM stores are also seen in most shopping malls in Singapore.
