Earthquakes can be destructive, by destroying houses, killing citizens, and tearing families farther apart. In the Philippines, the 7.2 magnitude earthquake did just this. There were 3,512,281 people affected by this massive earthquake. The disaster happened in 2013, leaving 36,645 houses damaged in the rubble.
