In fact, some states such as Alabama, the capital punishment has helped them to diminish the violent crime rate. We should emulate them in order to build a peaceful place to live. We need some form of capital punishment to convey a message to career criminals that they will not get away with these relentless crimes.
First and foremost, deterrence is one of the arguments that capital punishment should not be abolished. Capital punishment helps to prevent future crime. This severe punishment will discourage or intimidate would-be criminals from illegal action. Since society are concern in putting an end to murder, harshest punishment should be implement to deter murder, and it is non-other than capital punishment. Some criminals who have committed many violent crimes for example robbery, rape, and murder are walking the streets like normal citizens because we are much too lenient on them. If the death penalty is instituted, there would not be as many daring and violent crimes as there are presently. Our present laws are much too "soft" on criminals. We need to get stricter. To afraid those criminals, government had strengthen legal by giving those criminals a merciless capital punishment so that can set an example to those criminals or people who want to commit a crime and it will provide a safer environment to the society. Capital Punishment reduces the chances of offenders returning to society indefinitely.
