Capital punishment is a method of executing someone as punishment for a specific crime after a proper legal trial. It can only be used by a state, so when non-state organizations speak of having 'executed' a person they have actually committed a murder. It is usually only used as a punishment for serious types of murder such as adultery, fraud and rape are capital crimes. Capital punishment has been used in many countries all over the world. According to Amnesty International as at May 2012, 141 countries have abolished the capital punishment which is also known as death penalty either in law or in practice. In fact there are many things in this society which should be banned, but the capital punishment is not one of them.

In fact, some states such as Alabama, the capital punishment has helped them to diminish the violent crime rate. We should emulate them in order to build a peaceful place to live. We need some form of capital punishment to convey a message to career criminals that they will not get away with these relentless crimes.
First and foremost, deterrence is one of the arguments that capital punishment should not be abolished. Capital punishment helps to prevent future crime. This severe punishment will discourage or intimidate would-be criminals from illegal action. Since society are concern in putting an end to murder, harshest punishment should be implement to deter murder, and it is non-other than capital punishment. Subsequently it will convince potential murderers to think twice before executing someone for fear of losing their own life. Punishments which are swift and solid are the best deterrent. Some criminals who have committed many violent crimes for example robbery, rape, and murder are walking the streets like normal citizens because we are much too lenient on them. If the death penalty is instituted, there would not be as many daring and violent crimes as there are presently. Our present laws are much too "soft" on criminals. We need to get stricter. To afraid those criminals, government had strengthen legal by giving those criminals a merciless capital punishment so that can set an example to those criminals or people who want to commit a crime and it will provide a safer environment to the society. Capital Punishment reduces the chances of offenders returning to society indefinitely. Because of the merciless capital punishment, all the criminals and those people who are planning to commit a crime will be think before they committed a crime. Human being are started with only one life, once it lost will never get back again, that why life is priceless. Therefore the criminals will be afraid to losing their all whole life just because of committed a crime. The next three are Bahrain (1,900 police per 100,000), Hong Kong (highest Web-surfing speeds), and Singapore (stiff penalties for theft.) Thus, three fairly small Asian countries have achieved low crime rates. There are still very serious penalties for drug, sex and theft crimes in these traditionally conservative
