Many young adults and college students strive for greatness, but get can discouraged or overwhelmed quickly because they see people like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, JK Rowling and many others like them as a once in a lifetime success story. Successful people and students have much more in common then they think. Both are similar in many ways, but what separates and divides regular students from successful students isn 't what school they went to or how long they went to school. It’s about the opportunities they had and how determined and hardworking they were to accomplish their goals. Not all students that are successful are the most brilliant in their classes, but rather the ones who are determined to work hard and follow through achieve success.
Take Steve Jobs for example- born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, CA, later died on October 5, 2011, in Palo Alto, CA. He was one of the most successful people in America. Just like many others, he struggled and had a hard life growing up in his adopted family. In 1967, Steve Jobs co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak. Both of them not knowing at the time, Apple would later become a multi-billion dollar business and have tremendous success to this very day.
