English 99 Research Paper

Have you ever taken a class where you think you would never success in? According to Cambridge Dictionaries online, “Success is the achieving of desired results, or someone or something that achieves positive results.” In college, many students take a class doubt that they will do well in the class, but some students use things that will help the do well in class and pass. While English 99 has several reasons that made students successful in class.
The first reason that made students successful in English 99 is pink grammar packet. Students use the pink grammar packet to practice identifying the type of nouns, subjects, verbs, clauses, conjunctions, adjectives, modifiers, and comma use. The essay book involves essay formats, building skills exercise, and example essays. When I use the essay book to get a better understanding of how my essay should be, I am able to do my essay with the body structure I learned from the book. An essay format shows the body structure that involves introduction paragraph with thesis, three supporting paragraphs with developed sentences, and the conclusion paragraph. For example, my English professor Gina Hogan explains and uses the essay formats from the essay book every time we began an essay. The building skills exercises as show students the difference between a great thesis statement and a bad thesis statement. I am able to understand how a thesis statement should be. In each chapter of the essay book, there are example essays are written by those students who took English 99 with Professor Hogan. The two essays that are in the books are a great essay and an essay that did not get a good grade. When reading the example essay, I feel more confident on every essay I write. For example, my class mate Giselle who also read the example essay right before writing and she would end up getting a good grade on her
