A few of my professional goals for the future are to finish my Bachelor’s degree in nursing, find a nursing job in an ambulatory surgery unit, and eventually, apply for a Master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner. My personal goals are to take care of my new-born baby, start exercising on a regular basis, and buy a house. My husband, new born baby, and I recently moved from Dayton to Columbus and are currently renting an apartment. I will try to find a job near my residence, so I can stay close to my family; this is a short term goal that I want to accomplish. Another short term goal is to finish my Bachelor’s degree in nursing and graduate by December of this year. I have finished all of my nursing classes except for the business communication elective class, which I will finish in two weeks. I would also like to begin regular exercising in order to lose weight, eating healthier food, and getting proper sleep. Taking care of my new born baby is my top most priority, but a relatively more permanent goal.
