Clean eating – staying fit and healthy through food

No matter how regularly or intensively you work out if you don’t keep a healthy diet throughout your everyday life, you won’t see the benefits. Every calorie that you burn while exercising will come back right away if you eat a hamburger right after you get out of the gym.
The point of a diet isn’t to be too strict or to keep you hungry, on the contrary - you should be getting enough nutrition in average portions and meals big enough to feed you until the next meal. Everything excessive or too little is not the right thing.
I personally eat home cooked meals that I prepare myself in advance. That way I’m sure that the meals I have are healthy and benefit me in the best possible way. I know that it might be hard for someone to simply change their eating habits, so I made a short list of tips on how to start eating clean and how to make it part of your everyday life.
Do a little research and experiment
Firstly I think that it’s quite important do enjoy what you eat. So, do a little online research on healthy meals, some recipes, things you should eat, nutrients you might need or supplements on something that you don’t like, but it’s healthy. Also, you could experiment a bit – combine different ingredients, adjust meals or recipes on your own wishes, ask for some help from

You will surely need some adjustment and getting used to it, and feel free to take as much time as you need. Maybe start small, one healthy meal a day and than gradually increase the number of healthy meals. Or, you could make yourself a project, for example - work out regularly and eat only healthy food for 30 days. That way, you can see the progress you make and you can also adjust easily on your new habits.
