There plenty of diets to choose from, and for any purpose. They are most commonly known for the purpose of losing weight. Among other purposes like avoiding animal cruelty, to fight a disease, to be healthy, etc. In my teen years I grew up familiarized with diets. Since my parents would go on and off with a few different ones. Back then, I used to think that they were only to lose weight. So, in my early teen years I decided to eat whatever I pleased. Not thinking that diets are not necessarily for losing weight. When I started learning about the different diets there are, I thought they were perfect and wanted to eat that way for the rest of my life. I experimented first with a vegan diet, then a vegetarian diet, and finally gave up and realized not eating meat was not for me. The last diet I was fascinated with was the Paleo Diet.
I heard about the Paleo Diet three years ago. I thought the idea was innovative. Nothing I had heard about before. At first, I was impressed and excited about the idea. As I read about it, I could imagine myself eating that way for the rest of my life. It is one thing to read articles which are completely supportive about to subject, and another to actually try to accomplish it. Of course, they want to get to people to do this diet.

What might work for others, might not work out for you. Eating moderately is a start to being healthy. You can even mix and match different parts of different diets to fit what is best for you. For example, to take something positive about the Paleo Diet could be cutting off most of the processed foods. I would make an exception with milk. But definetely not base your meals of off meat. There is not an ideal diet. The best way to go is to research what you think might be better for yourself. Then add what you need and might be missing it, or drop what may not work for
